Healthy Pumpkin Spice Smoothie Recipe

Today I want to share a delicious and healthy pumpkin spice smoothie recipe that is perfect for fall! I love the flavors that come with this season and pumpkin is no exception. However, a lot of the items you see on store shelves or at your favorite coffee shop are packed with sugar. I wanted to come up with a way to incorporate this flavor into something a little healthier. 

Healthy Pumpkin Spice Smoothie Recipe

1 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk
1/3 cup pumpkin puree
1/3 cup rolled oats
1/3 cup greek yogurt (I used plain but you could use vanilla or an almond yogurt, too!)
2 bananas (ideally frozen)
1/2 teaspoon pumpkin spice
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
2-3 dashes of vanilla extract
4-5 ice cubes

If you wanted something a little sweeter you can add a few dates or some almond butter for a richer flavor. I personally love how mild the flavor is (not overwhelming/forced pumpkin). The yogurt adds an amazing creaminess but you can easily make this dairy free by using coconut milk or almond milk yogurt. That is why I love smoothies, you can always play around with flavors!
