This mama is tired. Not really for any particular reason but this week took it out of me. Getting dressed felt hard. Ha! I’m really looking forward to a weekend with very little plans.

Low maintenance was the theme this week (as seen here, here and here). My days with Charlie are all over the place and sometimes the days I have a babysitter are dedicated to feeling like a human again. This look is as easy as it gets – piecing together items that I know will get the job done. My go-to stripe tee is sold out but I found very similar options here, here and here. My coat is also old but similar styles here, here and here.

Majority of these items are things I’ve had in my closet for years. When it is cold out but I don’t want to wear my heavy coat I like to add a layer under a lighter jacket. My faux fur vest is honestly the highest quality faux fur I have found and it is only $30! Super flattering too.

On another note, thank you so much for the kind words about yesterday’s post. It really meant so much to me to read through the comments and I’m so glad it helps inspire you at the gym/in life. It’s a process for sure and nothing happens overnight which is why progress photos are fun.

Have a great weekend, friends!

PS: I found another size run of these sneakers here!

Outfit details: Old Navy Coat (old, similar here and here), BP Stripe Tee (sold out, similar here and here), G by Giuliana Faux Fur Vest (wearing a small), Rag & Bone Jeans (old, similar here and here), Nike Sneakers (also here), Chloe Bag

  2. Happy Friday!! Question – do you use a specific tool or product to curl your hair? You have perfect effortless-looking hair all the time!

  3. I LOVE this outfit! It’s so adorable! Also- your hair is perfect! I wish mine looked like that when I curled it!!!

  4. Perfect weekend look! I was lucky enough to snag two of those striped tee’s and I live in them too!
Enjoy your low key weekend! (and you have every right to be exhausted with those intense workouts! love seeing the snaps as workout motivation!)

  5. Hey Liz! Fellow Chicago mom here. Kinda off topic, but did you use a nanny service to find your babysitter? I’m currently doing the SAHM thing, but have started to look into getting back to work part time. It’s so hard to find a daycare that does 2-3 days a week in our area and I’m starting to think a nanny might be the way to go. Thanks!
